FAQs

Answers to Questions We’ve Been Asked

  • Who do you work with?

I work primarily with senior women sales and revenue leaders who own a meaningful commercial outcome and lead a team or significant work through other people.

Clients may lead sales, revenue, growth, commercial operations, or another function with direct responsibility for results. Titles and company sizes vary. What matters most is the substance of the role: consequential decisions, leadership through other people, and a level of responsibility at which too much may still depend on the leader’s direct involvement.

The work is particularly relevant for women navigating an expanded role, difficult quarter, team challenge, increased executive visibility, or a professional opportunity that also has implications for the rest of their lives.

  • What kinds of situations can we work on?

The work is shaped around the decisions, people, and responsibilities already requiring your attention.

    Common areas include:

    • Decisions that repeatedly return for approval

    • Important risks or concerns reaching you later than they would have been useful

    • Work that has been assigned elsewhere but still requires your planning, monitoring, or follow-up

    • Difficult employee, peer, CEO, board, or customer conversations

    • Commercial pressure that continues occupying your attention beyond the action currently available

    • Promotion, role expansion, travel, and increased executive visibility

    • Team ownership, manager development, and accountability

    • Cross-functional relationships and decision authority

    • Responsibilities outside work that materially affect your professional choices, attention, or recovery

We do not attempt to address all of these areas at once. The Strategic Capacity Diagnostic helps us select the two or three priorities where focused work is most likely to create meaningful movement over ninety days.

  • Do I need to complete the Revenue Leadership Pressure Audit before working with you?

    No.

The audit can help you identify whether decisions, information, or ownership may be a useful place to begin. It also gives you a sense of how I examine several possible causes before recommending a leadership response.

Your audit result will not determine the focus of the partnership on its own. The Strategic Capacity Diagnostic considers your role, organization, team, responsibilities outside work, and the specific situations you are navigating.

  • Is this sales coaching?

No. I do not teach sales methodology, prospecting, pipeline generation, CRM management, territory design, or closing techniques.

Commercial issues may provide the context for our work because you are accountable for revenue. We may work with a forecast discussion, customer escalation, manager concern, resource decision, or difficult quarter.

The focus remains your leadership, judgment, communication, team ownership, and the structure surrounding your role.

  • How is your approach different from traditional executive coaching?

I bring together 14 years of corporate leadership, including serving as an Executive Vice President overseeing sales and operations, with graduate training and professional experience as a counselor.

That combination affects how we understand the problem before deciding what to do about it.

A manager returning a decision may need clearer authority, more context, leadership development, or accountability. A decision may also be reopening because executives are not aligned or because an important consequence has not been addressed. Those situations can look similar from the outside and require different responses.

The work combines commercial context, psychology-informed analysis, and practical implementation. We use real decisions, conversations, agreements, and leadership situations rather than relying on a general curriculum.

  • What is included in the 90- day partnership?

    The partnership includes:

    • A brief Starting Reflection

    • One private 90-minute Strategic Capacity Diagnostic

    • A personalized Strategic Capacity Brief containing your Commercial Pressure and Capacity Map, two or three priorities, initial actions, and progress markers

    • Six private 60-minute coaching and strategy sessions

    • Defined between-session decision support

    • Preparation for consequential decisions, meetings, and conversations

    • Concise Decision and Action Briefs after each working session

    • Relevant tools and frameworks selected for your situation

    • A Sustainability and Early-Warning Plan

    • One 30-Day Integration Review

The partnership is built around the leadership work already in front of you. There is no general course or content library to complete.

  • Why is the partnership ninety days?

Ninety days gives us enough time to understand a recurring pattern, make a practical change, and observe what happens when that change meets real people and business conditions.

It also gives the work a defined initial commitment. You do not have to purchase an open-ended year of coaching before knowing how the relationship supports you.

We will not attempt to redesign every part of your leadership and personal life within three months. We select two or three priorities where meaningful movement is both realistic and valuable.

  • How are the sessions scheduled?

The partnership begins with the 90-minute Strategic Capacity Diagnostic.

Your first working session is normally held approximately one week later. The remaining five sessions are generally scheduled every two weeks, with the final active session completed by Day 90.

The 30-Day Integration Review is scheduled during onboarding and held approximately one month after active support ends.

Whenever possible, we schedule the complete series at the beginning so you do not have to continue managing the calendar throughout the partnership.

  • How much work is required between sessions?

There is no standard homework schedule or separate curriculum.

Any action between sessions is connected to a decision, conversation, responsibility, or change already affecting your role or life. You may need to communicate an expectation, test a revised agreement, make a decision, request support, or allow another person to carry responsibility differently.

I provide written Decision and Action Briefs and select tools when they are relevant, so you are not responsible for remembering and organizing the entire coaching process yourself.

  • What does between-session support include?

Between-session support is intended for brief, time-sensitive leadership situations.

    You may use it to:

    • Clarify a decision

    • Think through a change in circumstances

    • Prepare the opening of an upcoming conversation

    • Request brief feedback on a short email or message

    • Report what happened after an agreed action

    • Determine whether a more complicated issue should wait for a scheduled session

Responses are provided by the end of the next business day, excluding weekends, holidays, and communicated time away.

Extensive document review, presentations, contracts, full coaching conversations by message, and emergency support are outside this feature.

  • What is the 90-day investment?

    The investment is:

    $6,000 paid in full

    or

    Three monthly payments of $2,100

    The payment plan totals $6,300.

Because I personally provide the diagnostic, private sessions, written synthesis, and between-session support, I work with a small roster and accept a limited number of new clients each month.

When the current start period is full, I will offer the next available start date.

  • What is the Meaningful Progress Commitment?

At the beginning of the partnership, we agree on two or three personalized indicators of meaningful progress.

    These may include:

    • A recurring decision no longer returning for routine approval

    • A material concern reaching you earlier

    • One responsibility requiring less monitoring or follow-up

    • A difficult conversation being completed

    • A clearer agreement about ownership or authority

    • Reduced after-hours attention connected to a specific issue

    • A professional or personal decision moving forward with its tradeoffs understood

We review those indicators during the partnership and again at the 30-Day Integration Review.

When you participate fully, use the available support, complete the limited actions we agree upon, and show no meaningful movement on any agreed indicator by the Integration Review, two additional private sessions are included at no additional fee.

The complete participation requirements and terms are provided in the client agreement.

  • What happens if we determine the partnership is not the right fit after the diagnostic?

The diagnostic stage includes an early mutual-fit checkpoint.

Sometimes the initial conversation reveals that another kind of service, expertise, or support would be more appropriate. In that case, completed personalized work remains paid. Future undelivered services and scheduled payments are handled according to the terms provided before enrollment.

The purpose of the checkpoint is to recognize a mismatch early rather than continue a relationship that does not serve the client.

  • What is the difference between the complimentary consultation and the Revenue Leadership Strategy Session?

The complimentary consultation is a 20-minute fit conversation for women considering the complete 90-Day Strategic Capacity Partnership.

We discuss what is prompting you to seek support, what you want to change, and whether the partnership offers the right scope and structure. The consultation is not a coaching session, and there is no expectation that you make a decision during the call.

The Revenue Leadership Strategy Session is a paid 90-minute working session focused on one consequential decision, difficult conversation, team issue, role transition, or leadership pressure point.

The Strategy Session includes a brief pre-session reflection, my preparation, the private session, and a written Decision and Action Brief afterward. The investment is $750.

  • Can I book a single session without considering the partnership?

    Yes.

The Revenue Leadership Strategy Session is a complete standalone offer. You do not need to be considering the 90-Day Partnership or complete a complimentary consultation first.

The session is appropriate when you have one contained issue that would benefit from focused thought and a clear next move.

When the issue is recurring across several people, decisions, or responsibilities, the 90-Day Partnership may provide a more useful level of support.

  • Is the work confidential?

The work is private and treated as confidential according to the client agreement.

When you purchase coaching privately, your employer does not receive information about your sessions without your explicit written permission.

If your employer funds the engagement, we clarify in advance what, if anything, will be shared with the sponsoring organization. No reporting arrangement is assumed.

Coaching confidentiality is not identical to psychotherapy confidentiality or legal privilege. The client agreement explains the communication, recordkeeping, privacy, safety, and legal limitations that apply.

  • Is this therapy?

    No.

The Strategic Capacity Partnership and Revenue Leadership Strategy Session are executive coaching and strategic support. They focus on leadership, decisions, communication, commercial responsibility, support, and practical change.

My counseling training allows us to examine psychological and relational patterns with greater depth. The work does not diagnose or treat mental-health conditions and is not a replacement for psychotherapy, medical care, or crisis support.

A client may work with a therapist or another professional alongside coaching when the roles and scope are clear.

  • Can my employer pay for the partnership?

    Yes.

Some clients use executive-development, leadership-development, coaching, or professional-development funds.

You may also purchase the partnership privately without involving your employer.

When an organization funds the work, we discuss confidentiality, invoicing, and any requested reporting before the engagement begins. Your employer’s payment does not automatically give the organization access to private session content.

  • Are sessions virtual?

Yes. Individual coaching sessions are held virtually.

My standard availability is generally between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Central Time.

Prospective clients outside the United States are welcome to inquire. Before enrollment, we will confirm that the time zone, payment arrangements, and coaching scope are workable.

  • What happens if my schedule changes?

Senior revenue roles are unpredictable, and meaningful work, travel, health, and family disruptions happen.

Sessions can be rescheduled according to the policy in the client agreement. The partnership also includes limited flexibility when a significant disruption requires the active period to be extended.

Between-session support helps preserve continuity when an important situation occurs before the next scheduled meeting.

  • What happens after ninety days?

Some clients complete the partnership and continue independently using their Sustainability and Early-Warning Plan.

Others choose continued private coaching when ongoing decision support or further leadership development would be useful.

The 30-Day Integration Review helps us evaluate what held, what requires adjustment, and whether additional support would provide meaningful value. Continued coaching is never assumed.

  • Do you work with organizations or teams?

Yes. I also work with organizations through speaking, workshops, leadership development, and tailored strategic support.

Those engagements are designed separately from the individual 90-Day Strategic Capacity Partnership and depend on the organization’s audience, goals, scope, and timing.

    Schedule a complimentary organizational consultation

  • Still deciding whether the partnership fits?

The complimentary 20-minute consultation gives us a place to discuss what is happening, what you would want to be different over the next ninety days, and whether the Strategic Capacity Partnership is the appropriate form of support.

There is no preparation required and no expectation that you make a decision during the call.
